Fans of the Lucky Block Mod from the PC version of Minecraft will love the Lucky Block Infernal mod 0.15.4, which was designed specifically for the Pocket Edition of the game. With up to 35 different potential results whenever an Infernal Lucky Block is broken, the options are a little more limited than the original version of the mod, but then PE is a little more limited than the PC version of the game, so it kind of makes sense. Also unlike the Lucky Block mod, an inordinate percentage (far more than half) of the possible results is negative and will hurt the player.
Why would anyone ever want to try out this mod then, you might ask? Well, because those rare “good” results from breaking the block are really, really good. The special equipment and other loot drops which you could potentially get are a big enough incentive to get most players breaking open these modified lucky blocks, even if they end up dying or getting exploded or burning down their village in doing so. A nice note is that because you can actually craft the block using 9 pieces of redstone, the Lucky Block Infernal mod works in Survival and Hardcore modes just as well as it does in Creative.
However, when the bad things happen, sometimes they are really, really bad. One of the possible results from breaking the block is that a horde of villagers riding bats is summoned, and then they all start attacking you from every direction at once, usually resulting in your death. There are other ways to die as well. A horde of 10 ghasts might just explode out of the block, and the damage they can cause could lead to your home being destroyed in minutes. If you’re going to use the Lucky Block Infernal mod, be smart and back up your world data first.
